Typing stays on your device

Kmeow processes keyboard input, Romanized Khmer conversion, and word suggestions on your device. Its keyboard extension does not request Full Access, use the network, save what you type, or send typed text to Kmeow.

Preferences stored on your device

Kmeow stores your selected theme, font, typing mode, completion settings, and app appearance locally. The companion app shares only keyboard preference identifiers and change counters with the extension through Apple’s App Group storage.

App data collection

Kmeow does not collect keyboard input, account details, location, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics from the app. No account is required. The next release is planned without an in-app feedback form or feedback upload service.

Feedback on the website

Optional feedback is moving to a separate website, outside the app. The website feedback form is not available yet. When it launches, the form will explain which information it collects, its purpose, service providers, and your choices before you submit. Information you choose to submit on the website is separate from the keyboard's on-device processing; website feedback does not give us access to what you type in other apps.

The intended retention period for website feedback is 90 days after receipt, followed by deletion or anonymization. The form's storage, retention, and hosting logs will be checked and disclosed before launch. Please do not submit passwords, private conversations, or unnecessary personal information.

Earlier TestFlight feedback

TestFlight version 1.0.0 (build 3) still contains an in-app feedback form. Its service is not configured, so submissions stay in a local queue and are not delivered to the developer. That queue has no automatic expiry; you can remove it from the in-app Privacy Policy screen. We are no longer planning to enable that in-app delivery service, and queued messages will not be automatically transferred to the website. This policy update does not change an already installed test build.

Website visits and email support

These privacy and support pages are hosted on Firebase Hosting. Visiting a website sends technical request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to its hosting provider to deliver and secure the pages. Kmeow has not added advertising or analytics scripts to these pages. Website requests are separate from the offline keyboard.

If you email teschhayarith@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the information you include to respond to your request. Email support is not anonymous. Contact the same address with questions about this policy or to request deletion of information you sent us.

Sharing and choices

Chhayarith Tes does not sell your data or share it for advertising or cross-app tracking. You can use Kmeow without sending feedback or visiting the website. Website and email providers process information needed to provide those separate services. Any website feedback collection will be disclosed before the form opens.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. App Store privacy disclosures will be kept consistent with the current version of Kmeow.
